SOUNDING BORDERS – AN AWFUL LOT OF CHANGES

Borders Youth Theatre (BYT) Selkirk created this film in collaboration with VOMO in spring 2017. It was inspired by an interview with Jenny Corbett recorded as part of the Borders Memory Bank project in December 1999 when Mrs Corbett was aged 96. The BYT workshops took place as part of the Sounding Borders project organised by Live Borders Archives, Scran and Connecting Scotland’s Sounds to encourage creative responses to archive recordings of spoken memories.
