From animations to drama pieces and from print-making to poetry, the last 5 months have seen people across the Borders responding to the rich oral history collections held by the Scottish Borders Archive.
A special Borders Book Festival event will take attenders on a virtual tour of these creative projects, and give you the chance to listen in to Borders past via the recorded life stories which inspired them. All are most welcome to join us at the event to celebrate the creativity of people in the Borders and our inspiring audio heritage.
Sounding Borders is a partnership between Live Borders, Scran and Connecting Scotland’s Sounds, a project based at the National Library of Scotland to champion the preservation and sharing of Scotland’s heritage sound recordings.
